Bangalore: Karnataka's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party was on Friday set to bag all the three Assembly seats where bypolls were held on April 9.

The BJP candidates were leading in Channapatna in Ramanagaram district, Jagalur (reserved for Scheduled Tribes) in Davangere district and Bangarpet (reserved for Scheduled Castes) in Kolar district.

CP Yogeshwar in Channapatna, SV Ramachandra in Jagalur and M Narayanaswamy in Bangarpet were ahead of their Congress and Janata Dal-Secular rivals in the vote counting that began at 8 am amid tight security.

The bypolls were necessitated as two Congress legislators (Jagalur and Bangarpet) and one JD-S law maker (Channapatna) quit their seats and their parties to join the BJP.

Now Congress should realise that there was was no smoke in the allegation made against Yedurappa. Besdies this it also realise that there was a lot truth in the allegation made on Congress and its allies in TN. In Kerala also the people has given Congress a strong warning. In WB the show of Congress is poor and whatsoever is the victory seen is of TMC. Congress is loosing ground barring Assam where it has won due to infiltrators.
