Bangalore: The highly decomposed body of a man was found in a gunny bag in an open sump in a vacant site in Banjara Layout here on Sunday, police said.
They said some children spotted the bag when they went near the sump to fetch a cricket ball which had fallen in.
On getting a foul smell, they alerted some passersby who immediately informed police, they said.
