Bellary (Karnataka): Continuing its raids in connection with the illegal mining scam, CBI on Monday conducted searches at the residences of two aides of arrested former Karnataka Minister G Janardhana Reddy in Bellary district.

Teams from the agency started the raids since morning at the residences of transporters Karapudi Mahesh and Swasthik Garek, who are both absconding, officials said, adding some more raids are expected.

Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law and and MD of Obulapuram Mining Corporation, B V Srinivasa Reddy, arrested by CBI on September 5 in connection with the illegal mining probe, are in the agency's custody till today.

Court should not give bail to him howlong CBI arguges against to it. BJP party doesn’t having any moral and ethics as indirectly supported these leaders to dig more without following proceders and dishonoring law of land. Investigative agency has to establish the link between BJP central leaders who oftenly coming to here and went with gifts and cash bags as congress spokesperson alleged. If court takes stringent action against him not letting him to make use of any loop holes sends an threatening signal to other illegal barons to count their days of when they put behind bars for their illegal, irregular, malpractice and misuse of power. Few local media houses and journalist having connections with these Reddy brothers agency must interrogate them and establish their role for which received amount.
