Chinnaswamy Stadium blast suspects brought to Bangalore

The two suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorists, allegedly involved in blasts outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium this April, have been brought here after the city police sought their custody, a top official said on Friday.

"The two suspects Salman and Shahzad were brought here
(from Delhi) last night and have been remanded to police
custody till October 30", Joint Commissioner Crime Alok Kumar
told agency.

According to police sources, the duo has been taken to an
undisclosed location for interrogation.

A Delhi court yesterday allowed Bangalore police to take
the two suspects in its custody.
The April 17 blasts occurred ahead of an IPL match just
outside the stadium and left 15 persons, including five
security personnel, injured.

The duo is already facing charges for their alleged
involvement in September 13, 2008 Delhi serial blasts that
claimed 26 lives.
