Bangalore: It was a normal day for AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa as she spent the third day on Monday at Parappana Agrahara central jail here after her conviction by a special court in a disproportionate assets case.

"She has had a normal day, no one met her. She too seems to be in no mood to meet anyone; she has had milk, bread and fruits," jail sources said.

Asked about reports of her complaining about stomach ache, they said she is normal, and had a routine checkup by prison doctors.

The 66-year-old three-time Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is now prisoner number 7402 at Parappana Agrahara central prison. She has been allotted VVIP cell number 23 of the prison, which is next to the women's barracks.

Meanwhile, Jayalalithaa today moved Karnataka High Court challenging her conviction by the special court, maintaining that all charges of amassing wealth against her were false and she had acquired property through legal means and pleaded for bail.
