Mysore: A senior BJP leader on Sunday asked the
central leadership to expel former Karnataka Chief Minister
BS Yeddyurappa for "creating fissures" in the party.
"The central BJP leadership should expel Yeddyurappa
for creating fissures in the party," former Karnataka BJP
president, BB Shivappa, told reporters here.
Yeddyurappa should also stop adopting blackmail tactics to
regain chief minister`s post, he said.
The reported plan of Yeddyurappa to float a new party
would also not have any impact on BJP`s prospects in the
state, he said.
Another BJP leader Ram Bhat held Yeddyurappa responsible
for the present crisis in state BJP unit. "People will teach a
lesson to those vying for power ...," he added.
