Bengaluru: It was an usual day for the people of the city here until they spotted something very strange over the street which broke the crowd into frenzy.
In what has now become a series of attempts to embarrass the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike and force them to take a swift action over the quality of roads, a civic group in the city has installed an anaconda in a pot hole in Yeshwanthpur area here.
Notably, the impact of the anaconda is such that it can scare the hell out of someone caught unawares. The Namma Bengaluru Foundation (NBF), a group working for the betterment of the city, has installed a huge anaconda on the road rearing its head out of the netherworld of deep, water-filled potholes, with a hand projecting out of its mouth.
Bengaluru, which is supposed to be India's IT capital, is infamous for the potholed roads and conditions get worse with the monsoon showers, risking the lives of commuters.
Earlier, a visual artist named Baadal Nanjundaswamy had put a huge life-size crocodile in a 12-feet long pot hole in north Bengaluru city road.
