Chennapatna: Former Karnataka minister M Varadegowda died here on Saturday following a brief illness, according to family sources.
Gowda (68) leaves his wife, three sons and daughter. Gowda, a three-term MLA from Chennapatna Assembly constituency, had served in the ministry of late J H Patel.
Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda expressed grief
over the death. Forest Minister C P Yogeshwar and former chief
minister H D Kumaraswamy paid floral tributes.
