Yeddyurappa on Tuesday expressed happiness over the arrest of PDP
leader Abdul Nasser Madani, an accused in the 2008 Bangalore
serial blasts case.
"I am happy about it. People have been expecting his
arrest since the past few days," he told reporters here.
Yeddyurappa complimented the Karnataka Police for
their success in taking him into custody.
He also thanked the Kerala Government for its
cooperation in getting him arrested.
The Karnataka Police team, camping in Kollam since
August 10, executed the non-bailable arrest warrant hours
before a deadline set by a Bangalore court was to expire.
