Shimoga: In a shocking incident
pointing to a massive racket in undertaking the banned sex
determination test, 30 female foetuses were on Friday found dumped
on the city outskirts.
Police said the foetuses were stuffed in containers and
the clinical waste was reportedly dumped by a private
hospital.
An inquiry is on into the matter, SP Ramanagupta said.
District Health Officer DR Chennabasappa said the seized
foetuses would be sent for examination and the guilty would be
punished.
