Bangalore: Vatal Nagaraj, leader of a Kannada
organisation, on Sunday led a protest over lack of adequate public
toilets and displayed a variety of commodes.

Nagaraj, a former MLA, said people, particularly women in
rural areas, often face problems due to lack of public toilets
and his protest was to draw the government`s attention to set
the situation right.

Nagaraj, known to rope in animals during his protest, also
brought in a buffalo to symbolise the "thick skinned" nature
of the government, which he said had not responded to the
demand.
