Bangalore: BJP`s Karnataka unit on Friday appealed
to people of the state to "volunatarily support" the
Bharat Bandh called on July five to protest against hike in
prices of petroleum products including LPG.
The UPA government, which has resorted to hike in
petroleum prices hike for the second time in the last four
months has burdened "aam admi", the state unit BJP spokesmen C
T Ravi and Ayanur Manjunath told a press conference here.
Inflation has touched double digit and prices of essential
commodities have been soaring under the UPA rule,they alleged.
Essential services like supply of milk, medical stores and
hospitals would be spared from the bandh, Ravi said and
requested people to support it.
BJP Government is ruling the state.
