Lokayukta court to hear bail plea of minister`s son tomorrow

The bail application of a city corporator and son of a Karnataka minister, arrested in a bribery case last week, will be heard tomorrow by a special Lokayukta judge.

Bangalore: The bail application of a city corporator and son of a Karnataka minister, arrested in a bribery case last week, will be heard tomorrow by a special Lokayukta judge.

When the bail plea filed by Katta Jagadish, son of state minister Katta Subramanya Naidu came up for hearing, special judge Chandrashekhar Hippargi adjourned the hearing to tomorrow, Lokayukta officials said.
In a major embarrassment to the ruling BJP, Jagadish was arrested by Lokayukta police for allegedly offering a bribe of Rs one lakh to a witness in a case of alleged irregularities" in payment of compensation to land owners by Karnataka
Industrial Area Development Board.
