Bellary: Police seized Rs 1.88 lakh cash from a car in which it was being illegally transported at Sanganakallu village, about six kms away from here in the
early hours of Monday.
Two occupants of the car abondoned the vehilce and fled, police said.
Police said they have recovered some election related materials that belonged to former minister B Sreeramulu contesting the November 30 by-election as an independent.
Police have launched search for the missing culprits.
