Around 70 women held protest outside BJP office demanding removal of 3 former ministers from the membership of state Assembly.

Bangalore: Around 70 women, belonging to
Congress and some NGOs, were detained after they held protest
outside BJP office here on Saturday demanding removal of three
former ministers from the membership of state Assembly over
porn clipping controversy.

The protesting women were briefly detained for raising
slogans and causing inconvenience to the public in front of
the BJP office in Malleswaram, police said.

BJP Ministers Laxman Savadi and C C Patil had resigned on
February 8 after they were caught allegedly watching a porn
clipping on mobile phone during House proceedings.

Another minister, Krishna Palemar, also resigned for
allegedly providing the obscene clippings to Savadi.
