Endorsing the oust-BJP campaign of his party`s Karnataka unit, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today asked partymen to ensure defeat of communal forces through democratic methods in the state.

He praised the state unit leaders for their 320-km `Bellary Chalo` padayatra against illegal mining and "failures" of the BJP government and their anti-BJP stir.
"You have done a good job", he said during his brief interaction with leaders at the Karnataka PCC office.
Rahul, who arrived here from Gulbarga for his interactive session with the youth, spent about 20 minutes with top state party leaders and asked them to continue their
agitation against the saffron party government in a "democratic and Gandhian way", KPCC President R V Deshpande told reporters.
The Congress General Secretary, who has been criss-crossing the country to motivate youths to join politics for ensuring development, pledged his support to the stir launched
against the BJP government in the state.
