The problem of damages of human life and property in addition to inconvenience due to rains is repeating all over the India and world. This problem is due to construction activities of governments and non government people. The governments allot land in rivers, tributaries of rivers, nalas, and other natural drainage channels. The government allots land in depressions, regularizes colonies established in natural drainage channels. Construct roads, makes boundary walls across drainage channels without constructing proper bridges and culverts. The government has to take action to remove hindrances and structures causing obstruction in free flow of water in natural drainage channels.
