Yeddy slams Lokayukta report on illegal mining

Yeddyurappa, who has been facing cases filed under the Prevention of Corruption Act, said he would come clean and prove his innocence.

Haveri: Former Karnataka Chief
Minister B S Yeddyurappa today slammed as "biased" the
Lokayukta report on illegal mining which had led to his
resignation.

Talking to reporters at Hanagal, about 30 km away from
here, Yeddyurappa alleged that he was indicted "deliberately"
and questioned on what ground former Chief Minister and
Congress leader N Dharm Singh`s name was dropped in the final
report.

Yeddyurappa, who has been facing cases filed under the
Prevention of Corruption Act, said he would come clean and
prove his innocence.

He said he would go on a three-month-long state-wide tour
from second week of October to strengthen the party and would
seek the support of party MPs and MLAs.

Earlier, the BJP had put a break on Yeddyurappa`s
attempts to undertake a state-wide tour in the wake of growing
allegations of corruption, nepotism and favouritism against
him.
