Kochi: In a novel form of protest, a damcer
used the classical art form of Kerala `Mohiniyattam` to come
out against the Kalady Sree Sankara Sanskrit university`s
decision to shelve its proposal to start 7 International study
centres in the name of reformists including Adi Sankara,
Narayana Guru and Gandhiji.
Well known dancer Sudha Peetambaran, director of Sree
Sankara School of Dance, performed the protest dance for one
hour as a packed audience watched in rapt attention at a
function held in connection with the annual meeting of the
