Kozhikode: Demanding a CBI enquiry into the ice
cream parlour sex scandal case and the recent revelations of
a sabotage, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)
today said government should take the initiative for a
re-investigation of the case.
Speaking to mediapersons here, M K Sreelatha,
vice-president, state ABVP, said considering the recent
revelations regarding the ice cream parlour case and the
alleged involvement of both the ruling Left Democratic Front
(LDF) and opposition United Democratic Front (UDF), the probe
should be conducted by the central agency.
On the appointing of a Special Police Team to probe the
recent disclosures in connection with the ice cream parlour
case, She said `we know what would be the result if an
official from Kerala investigates` .
ABVP will give the lead for a nationwide agitation
against corruption, she said.
