Kozhikode: The district convention of the United Democratic Front (UDF) will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Saturday, party sources said.
UDF Kozhikode District Chairman P Sankaran, would preside over the convention.
Among those expected to address it are Minister of state for home affairs Mullappally Ramachandran, Kerala home minister Ramesh Chennithala,state finance minister K M Mani, industries minister P K Kunhalikutty, KPCC President V M Sudheeran, UDF Convenor P P Thankachan, MPs M K Raghavan and M I Shanavaz, Kerala Congress (B) Chairman R Balakrishna pillai.
Sudheeran will be arriving here for the first time after assuming office as KPCC president, they said.
