Thiruvananthapuram: Senior Congress leader and former Kerala Chief Minister K Karunakaran was Thursday discharged from a private hospital following improvement in
his health after two weeks of treatment.
The 91-year-old leader, who was rushed to the hospital with high fever and breathlessness on November 12, has been advised complete rest for at least a couple of weeks, hospital sources said.
Karunakaran, four time Chief Minister and one of the senior most Congress leaders in the country, returned to his residence here with his son K Muraleedharan, who is awaiting
clearance from Congress to rejoin the party after his exit from NCP.
Though Karunakaran`s condition was quite serious initially and he was in Critical Care Unit for the first four days, he recovered fast responding to medicines, the sources
