Four flights cancelled from Kerala

Kochi: Four Air India flights were today cancelled from Kerala on the second day of the strike by the airline`s pilots.

While three flights were cancelled in Kozhikode, one flight was cancelled from the state capital Thiruvananthapuram, Air India sources here said.

Kozhikode-Damam, Kozhikode-Dubai and Kozhikode-Mumbai flights were cancelled from the northern district of Kozhikode.

The Thiruvananthapuram-Mumabi flight, which was to operate at 8 AM, was cancelled. However, passengers were accommodated in another AI flight at 09.15 AM, the sources said.

There were no cancellations from Kochi.

Angry passengers in Kozhikode protested against cancellation of flights.

Three flights from Kozhikode and one from Thiruvananthapuram were cancelled yesterday due to the strike.
