Kochi: Former BJP leader K N Govindacharya
today firmly ruled out his return to the party.
"I have said that I will not join BJP and one cannot be
more categorical than that", the former party ideologue told
reporters here.
Though some BJP leaders had asked him to rejoin the party,
he had told them he did not find any reason to do so.
There was a need to place politics on the level of values
and issues and now sharing the benefits of power has become
the lone motive in politics, he said giving reasons for not
joining the current power politics.
He said this had resulted in some 'moneybags' becoming
beneficiaries, "who have influenced the legislature, the
judiciary and to a certain extent the media."
