Kottayam: Kerala Congress (Jacob) leader TM Jacob has challenged Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan to prove the allegations levelled against United Democratic
Front "if he is honest in his words".
Left Democratic Front was following the custom of foisting fake cases and indulging in retaliatory measures against political opponents, Jacob told newspersons here.
He said the recent accusations made by CPI (M) pointed to an attempt of gaining political mileage in the coming Legislative Assembly Elections. UDF will bring out various issues against LDF that demand greater prominence in the current scenario.
The state conference of KC (J) would be held at Thirunakkara ground here from February 21 to 23. A symposium on the role of judiciary, executive, legislature and press in modern India will be organised as part of the conference.
