Thiruvananthapuram: The social site Facebook`s page of Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has crossed half-million likes.
Chandy with 5,01,500 likes has the maximum number of followers among politicians in Kerala and is ahead of all Congress leaders at the national level with regard to number of followers in Facebook, a release from the Chief Ministers` Office said here on Thursday.
With this, Chandy has become one among the 20 politicians and five Chief Ministers in the country who are having most number of likes on the social media portal, it said.
Among the Congressmen, former prime minister Manmohan Singh comes second with 4,63,011 former Infosyos CEO Nandan Nilakeni and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi securing third and fourth position with 3,90,472 and 3,60,454 likes respectively.
The politicians in Kerala who are at the second and third position are former union minister and MP Sashi Tharoor with 2,35,343 likes and state Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala with 1,96,594 likes, the release said.
