Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government
today decided to constitute an internal security investigation
branch exclusively to probe terror-related cases.
The decision comes in the wake of chopping of the hand
of college lecturer T J Joseph on July 4, allegedly by
activists of Popular Front of India (PFI), a Muslim
fundamental group, and cutting of brake pipes of a stationary
passenger train at Nilambur in Mallpuram district last week.
