that Kerala had not seen a government like the CPI-M led Left
Democratic Front(LDF), which had made the life of the people
Speaking to PTI an elated Kunhalikutty said that before
the election Kerala Chief minister V S Achuthanandan had
claimed that the civic poll results would reflect the
performances of the LDF government and that had proved
The performance of the ldf would be more pathetic in the
next election to the state assembly, Kunhalikutty said.
He said the performance of the ldf in the election would
have been miserably low, but for the unscientific division
of wards and the large number of `bogus votes`.
`We are not demanding the resignation, but the chief
minister has lost the moral right to continue, considering
ldf`s defeat`, he said.
Meanwhile, Manjalamkuzhi Ali, who broke tie-up with the
CPI(M) by resigning the membership of the assembly recently,
said `I believe the people had given the ldf a fitting reply
in the polls`.
