Kannur: Suspected LeT operative T Nazir will be produced before a Kerala court Tuesday in a case relating to the alleged murder attempt on an Islamic scholar in Aluva three years ago, police said.
Nazir, who was in the police custody here in connection with investigation into various terror related cases, was taken to Aluva town near Ernakulam amid tight security.
He was remanded to judicial custody till April 19 in connection with the alleged murder attempt on Rahim Pookadasseri, an Islamic scholar, for propagating progressive ideals and would face proceedings in the court in Aluva tomorrow, police said.
Nazir is facing charges in various terror incidents, including the 2008 Bangalore bomb blasts.
