Monsoon session of Assembly from June 28

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala cabinet Wednesday
decided to recommend Governor R S Gavai to convene the monsoon
session of Kerala assembly from June 28.

Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan told reporters that a
decision to this effect was taken at Wednesday`s cabinet meeting.

The session would take up discussion on budget allocation
for each departments.

Congress led UDF Opposition was all set to corner the
government on matters connected with law and order situation,
spurt in prices of essential commodities, alleged failure of
government to tackle the spread of fever in the state.
