Navy to display operational prowess on Dec 8

Ships, aircraft, and marine commandos of Southern Naval Command and Indian Coast Guard will display their operational prowess on Dec 8 as part of Navy Day.

Kochi: Ships, aircraft, and marine commandos of Southern Naval Command and Indian Coast Guard will display their operational prowess here on December 8 as part of Navy Day celebrations.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will be the Chief Guest. The demonstration will include among other things, aerobatics, fly past of Naval aircraft, ship manoeuvres and combat diving skills.
The demonstration will commence at 4 pm with Navy band performance, a navy release said here today.
