Kollam: Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan has put a lid on the controversy over the
alleged neglect of Kerala during the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh`s visit to Kerala stating that all issues have been resolved with Singh calling him over phone and expressing
"I have no issue with the Prime Minister. Everything has been resolved with Prime Minister calling up. Our friendship is intact," Achuthanandan told reporters on the sidelines of a function at Kundara near here.
He said Prime Minister had told him that problems were the result of confusion created by some of his colleagues and officials, Achuthanandan said.
The Left Front in the Kerala had alleged that the Chief Minister and the state government had been slighted by not according due prominence to them at public engagements of Singh during his visit to the state last week.
Two days back, the state assembly adopted a resolution voicing protest over the matter, with the Congress-led UDF opposition absenting from the house.
The same evening, Prime Minister called Achuthananandan to express regret over the matter.PTI
