One kg gold seized from air passenger

Tiruchirappalli: One kg of gold was on Sunday seized from a man, who arrived here by a flight from Dubai, officials said.
Customs officials checked Mohammed Ansar, a native of Kerala, on suspicion and found that he had stuffed the gold in his rectum.

Officials said 700 gm of of gold was seized yesterday from Muthukumar who arrived from Sri Lanka.

In the last three months, Customs officials have seized 11 kg of gold, officials added.
