Malappuram: The house of rationalist
leader U Kalanathan was attacked by miscreants, apparently
angered by his suggestion that the huge treasures discovered
from the Sree Padmanabahswamy temple should be used for public
According to police, four glass window panes of the house
at Vallikunnu near here were broken in the stoning and a
motorcycle parked in the compound damaged in the attack
unleashed by a group of unidentified people last night.
But no one in the house was injured.
Kalanathan, state secretary Kerala Yukthi Vadi Sanghom,

Reacting to the attack on his house, he alleged this was a
planned attack carried out by "communal elements."
