Thalassery: A court here today granted conditional bail to CPI(M) leader and former MLA P Jayarajan, an accused in the case related to the murder of an RSS activist in 2014 being investigated by CBI.
Principal Sessions Judge V G Anil Kumar granted conditional bail to Jayarajan, who was admitted to an ayurveda hospital two days ago after he complained of some health problem while he was lodged in the jail in Kannur.
Granting the bail, the judge said Jayarajan should not enter Kannur district for the next two months and should not attempt to influence witnesses and must present himself before the investigation officer whenever summoned.
The bail would be cancelled if any complaint was made against Jayarajan, the court said.
