Shocking! Woman hacked to death in Attingal, Thiruvananthapuram

The police have reportedly found the murder weapon – a knife. 

Thiruvananthapuram: In a shocking case of brutality, a woman was hacked to death in Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala.

The woman's body was found at a deserted spot near Attingal's busy KSRTC bus depot. The police suspect that she was either killed early today or late yesterday evening.

Media reports later identified as 26-year-old Soorya S Nair. She is believed to be a native of Palakonam, around 25 kms from Attingal. Soorya was working at a private firm in Venjaramoodu, reports added.

The police have also found the murder weapon – a knife – reports added.
