Kochi: Soofiya Madani, 10th accused in the
Kalamassery bus burning case and wife of Kerala-based PDP
leader Abdul Nasser Madani, today filed a fresh petition
before CBI Special court here seeking relaxation of her bail
condition to meet her husband and children, who are in Kollam.

In her petition, she stated that Madani was an accused in
the Bangalore bomb blast case and there was a warrant against
him. A decision on her petition should be taken as early as
possible she stated.

As per the bail condition, Soofiya cannot leave Ernakulam
District without the court`s permission.

Last week, she had approached the court seeking deletion
of her bail condition, which was rejected by the court.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA), probing various
terror related cases in Kerala, had objected to her plea.

The fresh petition will come up before the court tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the NIA also moved an application seeking to
declare two absconding accused in the Kozhikode twin blast
case, as proclaimed offenders. The two are in Saudi Arabia.
