Trains on Shornoor-Mangalore line cancelled, regulated for two days

Southern Railways announced partial cancellation and regulation of some trains on Shornoor-Mangalore line for two days from Saturday following replacement work of steel girders on the railway overbridge between Mahe and Thalassery.



Kochi: Southern Railways announced partial cancellation and regulation of some trains on Shornoor-Mangalore line for two days from Saturday following replacement work of steel girders on the railway overbridge between Mahe and Thalassery.

Partial Cancellation of Trains:

Train No 56603 Thrissur-Kannur passenger and Train No 16305 Ernakulam-Kannur Express will be cancelled between Kozhikode and Kannur today and tomorrow.

Train No 16306 Kannur-Ernakulam Express will be cancelled between Kannur and Kozhikode and will start only from Kozhikode today and tomorrow.

Regulation of Trains

Train No 16606 Nagercoil-Mangalore Eranad Express will be detained for 50 minutes at Mahe on during the two days and will arrive at Mangalore Central late by 50 minutes.

Train No 16650 Nagercoil-Mangalore Parasuram Express will be detained at Mahe for 87 minutes on the two days and will arrive at Mangalore Central late by 87 minutes.

Train No 12217 Kochuveli - Chandigarh Kerala Sampark Kranti Express will be detained for 35 minutes at Mahe today.

Train No.12202 Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak Garib Rath will be detained at Mahe for 35 minutes tomorrow.

To clear the extra rush of passengers, railways will operate the following Jan Sadharan fully unreserved special train.

Special train from Ernakulam Jn. To Howrah Jan Sadharan Express: (Via. Chennai Central) (Unreserved).

Train No 06723 Ernakulam Jn.- Howrah Jan Sadharan special train will leave Ernakulam Jn. At 23.00 hrs. On 28.12.2014 (Sunday) leave Chennai Central at 12.25 hrs. On 29.12.2014 (Monday) and reach Howrah at 20.15 hrs. On 30.12.2014 (Tuesday).
