Kochi: In a freak accident, a student died lost her life when a tree fell during a youth festival at her college in Guruvayur.
The incident happened at Sree Krishna College in Guruvayur. 18-year-old Anusha was part of a crowd that had converged in the campus for the festival.
Suddenly, a huge tree fell, crushing Anusha. Six other students suffered serious injuries in the incident.
The deceased, a native of Chittilappilly in Thrissur, was a first year BA Economics student.
Two of the injured students have been admitted to the ICU.
