Thiruvananthapuram: A group of social workers
from UAE would participate in the proposed satyagraha to be
launched by Team Anna Hazare from August 16, demanding a Lok
Pal Bill with stringent provisions against corruption, Global
Dialogue Foundation Chairman K K Saratchandra Bose said here
today.
Bose, a member of International Bar Association, told
reporters here that their group comprised 20 Indians,
including two Keralites.
He said invasion of black money was threatening the very
existence of democracies with humane values and pointed out
that India and Switzerland are now members of the Financial
Action Task Force (FATF) set up in 1989 to check black money.

A democratic country like India should try to locate and
wipe out black money with the existing provisions and set up a
strong Lok Pal to check corruption, Bose said.
