Bread Gulab Jamuns The mere thought of melt in the mouth gulab jamuns is sufficient to ring innumerable desire bells in our hearts. But surprisingly the thought of making them at home never occurs to any of us -the reason being the tedious, tiring process involved in it. But these bread gulab jamuns are not just easy to cook but also delicious to taste.

Ingredients:

1 packet normal white bread

1 ½ cup cream

½ tsp baking powder

1 tsp powdered cardamom

1 ½ cup sugar

2 cups water

1 ½ cup oil

Procedure:

Cut and remove the sides of breads. Mix cream with bread and mash till the mixture becomes smooth. Add soda and cardamom powder and mix further. Make them into small balls and deep fry. In the mean while make sugar syrup of thick consistency by boiling water and adding sugar to it. Add the balls into syrup and serve hot.
