Chhindwara: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three persons, including two teenagers, the sixth such case in Madhya Pradesh in the last fortnight.

A railway clerk, Lakhesh Bamya and two boys, aged 16 and 17 years, were arrested yesterday for allegedly gang-raping the girl, police said on Monday.

Both the teenagers forcibly brought the victim to Bamya's house where the accused gang-raped her, they said, adding medical examination of the girl has been conducted.

Madhya Pradesh has witnessed many incidents of gangrape this month.

On February 2, a woman was gangraped by her husband and his four friends in Jogli village in Betul district.

On February 10, two teenaged girls were allegedly sexually assaulted by 15 people at a farm near Betma town.
