Harda(MP): CBI on Friday opposed the transfer of
the Durgesh Jatav murder case, allegedly involving former BJP
Minister Kamal Patel and his two sons, from Indore to the
district court here.

CBI Inspector Arjun Dwivedi appeared in the court of
Harda District Judge OP Dube and submitted an application
registering the central agency`s objection to the shift of the
case to the local court from the Indore district court.

CBI has already submitted the chargesheet in the case to
a special CBI court at Indore and on January 13 and Special
Judge Shubra Singh transferred the matter for further hearing
in the Harda district court, Patel`s lawyer, Radhakishan Yadav
told reporters here.

The court has fixed February 11 as the next date of
hearing in the case.

Except for one accused identified as Gyanesh, all others,
including Patel`s sons Sudeep and Sandeep, were present in the
court.

Durgesh Jat was killed in a shootout at a farmhouse in
Harda in March 2008. The High Court had ordered a CBI probe
into the case.
