Bhopal: Intense cold conditions prevailed in several parts of Madhya Pradesh with tourist spot Pachmarhi recording a minimum temperature of one degrees Celsius.
The lowest temperature recorded in Bhopal yesterday was 5.9 degrees C which was five degrees below normal.
The same temperature was recorded in Bhopal on December
11, 1996, and since then the mercury never dropped below six
degrees C in December.
Several towns Seoni, Betul, Guna, Khajuraho, Satna,
Ratlam and Gwalior recorded minimum temperature around six
degrees C, while Naugaon recorded the low at five degrees.
