Sagar (MP): A police constable was on Sunday
arrested for allegedly possessing question paper sets of
contract teachers' examination that was held across the state
today, police said.
The constable, who was identified as Tej Narayan Dube,
was found carrying 'Set-B' papers of the exam, City
Superintendent of Police (CSP) Rakshpal Singh Yadav told
reporters.
Dube's links are being probed, police said adding that
though the papers, recovered from him, were not of today's
exam, the source of these papers would be traced.
The exam was organised by the Madhya Pradesh
Professional Examination Board.
The constable, arrested in Gopalganj area, was also
found carrying a 303 bore rilfe, a country-made pistol, Rs
63,800 cash and six cartridges, police said.
A case has been registered in the Gopalganj Police
Station in this regard and further investigations are on.
