Constable arrested with paper sets

A police constable was on Sunday arrested for possessing question paper sets of contract teachers` examination that was held across the state today.

Sagar (MP): A police constable was on Sunday
arrested for allegedly possessing question paper sets of
contract teachers` examination that was held across the state
today, police said.

The constable, who was identified as Tej Narayan Dube,
was found carrying `Set-B` papers of the exam, City
Superintendent of Police (CSP) Rakshpal Singh Yadav told
reporters.

Dube`s links are being probed, police said adding that
though the papers, recovered from him, were not of today`s
exam, the source of these papers would be traced.

The exam was organised by the Madhya Pradesh
Professional Examination Board.
The constable, arrested in Gopalganj area, was also
found carrying a 303 bore rilfe, a country-made pistol, Rs
63,800 cash and six cartridges, police said.

A case has been registered in the Gopalganj Police
Station in this regard and further investigations are on.
