Digvijay hits out at Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Madhya Pradesh CM had recently said there was no need to reply to Singh`s accusations that the ruling BJP in MP was indulged in corruption.

Bhopal: Hitting out at Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his remark that he is not taken seriously by his party, Congress general secretary
Digvijay Singh on Sunday said such statements were made by people trying to avoid replying to charges against them.

"People who say such things either do not have the answers to my questions or even if they do, they find it uncomfortable to reply," Digvijay said here.

"I am quite sure that no Congressman at any level has ever said or issued a statement that the party does not take me seriously," he said.

Chouhan had recently said there was no need to reply to Singh`s accusations that the ruling BJP in MP was indulged in corruption as he was not taken "seriously" even by his own party.

He just says anything about anyone, due to which his statements were being taken "lightly" by the people, the Chief Minister had said.
