Five injured in blast in MP town

Five persons including three women were injured in a blast at Begumganj tehsil`s Mala Fatak area near here, police said.

Raisen(MP): Five persons including three
women were injured today in a blast at Begumganj tehsil`s Mala
Fatak area near here, police said.

The condition of two of them was serious and they
were taken to a hospital in Bhopal, Sub-Divisional Officer of
Police (SDOP) Raghuveer Singh Kushwaha said.
The incident occurred at the residence of one
Shankarlal Kushwaha, whose relatives after returning from his
son Mukesh`s marriage party, were keeping their luggage in a
room when suddenly a massive blast took place.

Bomb disposal squad was searching the place to find
out how the explosion occurred and whether a bomb was placed
inside the room.
A case has been registered in this regard and further
investigations are on, police said.

PTI
