Heptullah, Kulaste elected to RS from MP

Four BJP nominees and one from Congress were Thursday declared elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh.

Bhopal: Four BJP nominees and one from
Congress were Thursday declared elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh.

The four BJP candidates who were declared elected are Najma Heptullah, Kaptan Singh Solanki, Faggan Singh Kulaste and Thawarchand Gehlot.

The lone Congress nominee is former party spokesman
Satyawat Chatruvedi who was earlier Rajya Sabha member from
Uttarakhand.

Returning Officer Rajkumar Pandey announced the election
results here.
