Shajapur (MP): Western Railway on Tuesday ordered an inquiry into Jaipur-Bhopal Intercity Express not halting at Bercha station near here despite scheduled stoppage, causing inconvenience to passengers.
The train finally came to a halt a kilometre away from the station after passengers pulled the chain, they said.
"A probe has been ordered in this regard to find out whether it was a fault of the engine driver or the concerned staff at the Bercha station," PRO for the Ratlam-Indore division Pradeep Sharma said.
