Law violated while acquiring tribal land for power plant: CPI-M

After breaching laws and using police force to give land to a private company for setting up a thermal project, the tribals there are being driven away by the administration, according to CPI-M leader Badal Saroj.

Bhopal: Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Tuesday
alleged that all the rules and regulations were being
violated in Madhya Pradesh to acquire land from tribals in
Anuppur district for setting up a power project.

After breaching laws and using police force to give
land to a private company for setting up a thermal project,
the tribals there are being driven away by the administration,
CPI-M leader Badal Saroj said in a statement in Bhopal.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan should cancel the
land acquisition order and shift the plant, Saroj stated.
